The Fischer My Mountain 77 is a high performing all mountain ski that's going to be a great choice for advanced intermediates and up that want a fun, cruising ski that generally prefers to stay on the groomers. You can really match the ski to your own ski style easily here. Do you prefer to spend most of your time on groomed snow? The 77 mm waist width of the My Mountain 77 is best suited for relatively firm conditions where it doesn't sink or get bogged down by heavy snow. Fischer's Razorshape does make it more maneuverable and a little easier to ski when you do take it off the groomers, but when it comes down to it this ski prefers to stay on groomed slopes. The poplar wood core gives it a very solid feel without being over-powering like some skis that use full sheets of metal in their construction. The sidewall construction retains good torsional stiffness so the ski will hold an edge through relatively aggressive turns, but is a little bit more easy going compared to top of the line frontside carving skis.
