Volkl BMT 109
$1,375.00
The BMT 109 is perhaps the ultimate backcountry ski for North American conditions. With a full carbon construction and lightweight multi-layer wood core, it features full rocker and an early-taper sidecut, for true big mountain versatility after a self-powered ascent. Also available are pre-cut, glue-free Vacuum technology climbing skins. It also features the added advantage of the ICE OFF topsheet, designed to keep snow and ice from adhering to the topsheet to keep the lightest possible setup. MULTILAYER WOODCORE LITE - The combination of beech and poplar results in a very durable wood core composed of hard wood in the binding area and very light wood in the other areas. 3D.RIDGE CARBON - Central Woodcore Ridge with superslim wings to significantly reduce weight and swing weight and keep the stability where necessary. Combined with Full Carbon Jacket for Stability. ICE.OFF TOPSHEET - Topsheet technology to reduce the weight of the ski when skiing and hiking. Will reduce the snow attachment to the ski at an average of 20% to 30%. The next step in effective weight reduction. ICE.OFF stands for the latest topsheet technology on our touring skis. The unique surface structure and material composition reduces icing as the snow simply slides off the topsheet. This leads to a drastic reduction of weight in use, on average up to 20% to 30%. In addition, mainly white graphics support the anti-icing effect. Lighter skis prevent fatigue, especially on long and steep uphill sections. SKIN PIN - 100% secure and custom-fit connection of skin to ski. TAPER SHAPE - Tapered tips for effort-saving behavior of the ski in soft snow/tracked powder/powder FULL CARBON JACKET - Material layup for direct transmission and high reliability/stability at the lightest possible weight. CENTER SIDEWALL - Direct and strong power transmission with partial sidewalls in the center of the ski, combined with the super-slim 3D.Ridge construction. BASE P-TEX 4504 - P-Tex 4504 is a sintered high-quality base with high molecular weight. It is characterized by its impressive durability and gliding properties. At Völkl we use it on all of our premium all-mountain and race models.
Volkl Deacon 84 + LowRide XL 13 FR Demo GW
$1,150.00
The Deacon 84 skis as well on icy slopes as on fresh snow, bringing a smile to the face of experienced skiers. The integrated Titanal Frame delivers power and stability, while the new LowRide XL binding with GripWalk allows great power transfer due to the extra low standheight. The ski comes with Full Sidewall and a P-Tex 4504 base. The 3D.Ridge construction, powered by Titanium combined with 3D.Glass, also increases the power transfer and higher torsional stiffness, an improved edge grip and better liveliness. The new 3D radius concept lifts the carving performance of the ski into another dimension. The ideal on piste carver for changing snow conditions. 3 RADIUS SIDECUT - Three radii in one ski for maximum turning & speed versatility in all mountain skiing TITANAL FRAME - More damping and stability over the full length of the ski 3D.GLASS - 3D.GLASS is Völkl’s development to furthermore improve overall ski performance and stability even in critical snow conditions. Compared to classic glass constructions the three-dimensional and multiple-folded glass layers in the tip and in the tail area result in an increased edge grip and a more vivid rebound behavior in turns. FULL SIDEWALL - Direct and strong power transmission with full length sidewalls. BASE P-TEX 4504 - P-Tex 4504 is a sintered high-quality base with high molecular weight. It is characterized by its impressive durability and gliding properties. At Völkl we use it on all of our premium all-mountain and race models. 3D.RIDGE - Central Woodcore Ridge with super-slim wings to significantly reduce weight and swing weight and keep the stability where necessary. Our 3D.Ridge technology - is probably the most extreme and effective construction technique that currently exists. It has become a symbol of VÖLKL lightweight construction. The distinctive characteristic of this technology is a raised central ridge that sharply levels out towards the edges, both in front of and behind the binding. This reduces the inertial mass around the fulcrum to a minimum and significantly enhances the agility of the ski. At the same time, the center ridge allows for a precise dimensioning of the hardness distribution, which leads to an especially harmonious flex on the ski. Despite the weight savings, the 3D.Ridge ensures that there are no compromises in the ski‘s durability and elasticity.

Fischer Skis Fischer My Pro MT 77 Powerrail Skis w/ RS 10 GW Bindings
$325.00 $649.99 50% Off
The Fischer My Mountain 77 is a high performing all mountain ski that's going to be a great choice for advanced intermediates and up that want a fun, cruising ski that generally prefers to stay on the groomers. You can really match the ski to your own ski style easily here. Do you prefer to spend most of your time on groomed snow? The 77 mm waist width of the My Mountain 77 is best suited for relatively firm conditions where it doesn't sink or get bogged down by heavy snow. Fischer's Razorshape does make it more maneuverable and a little easier to ski when you do take it off the groomers, but when it comes down to it this ski prefers to stay on groomed slopes. The poplar wood core gives it a very solid feel without being over-powering like some skis that use full sheets of metal in their construction. The sidewall construction retains good torsional stiffness so the ski will hold an edge through relatively aggressive turns, but is a little bit more easy going compared to top of the line frontside carving skis. Fischer says the My Mountain 77 is designed for "boundless skiing pleasure," and we can whole-heartedly agree; the My Mountain 77 delivers a whole lot of fun. Features: Turn Radius: 15 m at 157 cm Sidecut: 121/77/107 mm Weight: 1450 g at 157 cm Sidewall Construction Poplar Wood Core Razorshape Profile Ability Level: Intermediate to Advanced
Fischer Skis My Aspire SLR2 w/ My RS 9 GW SLR binding
$225.50 $450.99 50% Off
Binding: 2018 Fischer My Aspire SLR2 West Coast skiers: this is a great carving ski that should be brought out to rip the groomers. East Coast Hardpack Lover: This is an excellent ski for East Coast skiers that ski aggressively on the hardpack while still getting off trail a bit. Tip Rocker: This refers to the early rising of the tip to get the ski on top of the soft snow, rather than pushing through it. When the skis are held with the bases together, it will look like the tips are bent, and spread away from eachother. Tip rocker also helps skiers pivot the skis, making tight trees remarkably easy, and gives the ski a surf-like feel. Cap Construction: The topsheet of this ski drapes over the edge to form a clean and rounded finish to the side of the ski. This style of construction adds some torsional rigidity, and helps reduce topsheet chipping when the skis hit each other. Extruded Base: This durable material requires little maintenance and holds wax for a long period of time, so you don't have to wax as often. Air Power: Ski core with less density. The reduced ski weight means easier handling and less energetic skiing. Fiber Tech Wrap: A fiberglass network that surrounds the core of the ski. This technology helps the ski flex evenly, creating a smooth, effortless turn.

Others celebrated its quick edge-to-edge performance, noting it “lays down tight tree turns masterfully.” A rockered shape enhances playfulness and float, rounding out the award-winning package.

Perfectly balanced for all conditions, the Prodigy is your kid's ticket to fun this year. Freeski Rocker: Tip and Tail rocker provide optimum float characteristics, with a playful, surfy feel. With FREESKI ROCKER, less energy is required to keep the ski on top of the snow, allowing a more centered and balanced stance, as well as the ability to rip from first to last chair. Fiber Tech: Special glass fiber network with harmonious bending properties. The ski stands out through excellent turning action. Extruded Bases: Extruded base material is very hard-wearing, but does not possess as good waxing properties as sintered bases. Sidewall Construction: Sidewall Construction to support the edges for highest stability, strength and durability.
Fischer Skis Profoil - Hannibal
$49.99 $224.99 78% Off
The PROFOIL climbing skin is a big departure from traditional climbing skins. Made from a dense by pliable plastic, the PROFOIL has many benefits over mohair or synthetic skins. First is that it's durable. I've taken these in areas of low snow (not recommended) where traditional skins would rip off along the skin track. These can scratch but will still retain their structure. They also don't absorb water on those hot spring days, staying dry in your pack and not adding weight. Other than that, they perform similar to normal skins. Version 2.0 rolls up into a nice compact ball and is easy to store for the descent and reapply for the ascent. These skins are pre-cut for the Hannibal backcountry skis so they are ready right out of the box!

PROFOIL is made from a waterproof material that prevents water absorption, thus eliminating weight gain while ascending. With PROFOIL you reach the summit faster, at the same time you will experience an entirely new sensation of comfort and performance. CROWN GLIDE You glide much faster and benefit from a much better lift-to-drag ratio due to the super low friction coefficient of the PROFOIL base material. BIGGER STRIDE As you glide further your stride is lengthened by up to 20%. With PROFOIL you reach the summit in greater comfort and with considerably less effort. CROWN GRIP No matter whether it is cold or warm, wet or dry: the PROFOIL crowns provide maximum grip for ascents in all types of snow conditions.
